General Manager

  • Define and execute the operational strategy for a high-growth, ASX-listed health supplements brand expanding across Asia-Pacific.
  • Lead the full product journey - from contract manufacturing and compliance through to distribution and retail execution.
  • Drive operational scale, regulatory oversight, and commercial alignment across the wellness and pharmacy channels.

About the Opportunity

A fast-growing, ASX-listed consumer health company is expanding its footprint across Australia, New Zealand, and key Asian markets. With a portfolio of wellness and nutrition products backed by science, this business is seeking a General Manager to lead its distribution and operations centre.

This pivotal role will oversee third-party manufacturing partners, drive product launch execution, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage end-to-end distribution. Additionally, the General Manager will support brand growth initiatives and play a key role in strengthening relationships across pharmacy wholesalers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full operational lifecycle across R&D, formulation, regulatory compliance, and product manufacturing.
  • Manage logistics and warehousing functions, optimizing inventory, supply chains, and dispatch across ANZ.
  • Strengthen pharmacy channel partnerships (e.g., Chemist Warehouse, Priceline) and lead new product placements.
  • Drive regulatory strategy - including TGA submissions, ARTG registration, and GMP compliance.
  • Partner with OEM/ODM suppliers and support e-commerce strategies, particularly for cross-border growth.

Ideal Candidate

  • At least 12 years' experience across health supplements or pharmaceuticals.
  • Deep operational exposure within Australia's pharmacy landscape.
  • Proven leadership in managing regulatory frameworks, warehousing, and product lifecycle execution.
  • Experience navigating TGA, GMP, and ARTG processes.
  • A background in product development, formulation, or laboratory research.
  • Commercial acumen to support APAC expansion strategies.
