We are seeking an experienced human resource (HR) leader to join our External Workforce Operations team.

As an **External Workforce Operations Team Lead**, in our ATO People business area, you’ll lead a team responsible for managing and governing records and systems related to the ATO’s Contingent Workforce. You will ensure your team conducts the necessary onboarding checks and processing to place and maintain contingent workers in their intended roles.

You will provide advice to resolve complex enquiries and undertake intricate governance activities. You’ll also identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and adaptability of processes related to onboarding, extension, transfer and separation of ATO contingent workers. You’ll use various information technology and HR systems to create solutions outside of documented processes.

Additionally, you will support your team’s continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring and training activities.

This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in **Canberra or Dandenong**. A merit pool may be formed and used to fill future similar vacancies in these locations and other locations within the same metropolitan area.
