The Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that archTIS related computing systems, platforms, and equipment are operating effectively and efficiently. Key to this role is providing ICT technical delivery, guidance and oversight to technical teams, representing archTIS and working with various partners, vendors, and customers regarding appropriate technical components, implementations, deployments, tools and designs for the successful delivery of archTIS products and solutions both in office and on site as required.

To be successful as a Technical Lead, you should have broad and strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, alongside project management. You should also have strong leadership, communication, writing and interpersonal skills, and be willing to adapt and learn as new technologies or solutions arise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical expertise across a broad range of ICT.
- Perform, guide and inform technical activity to enable successful outcomes.
- Provide senior technical incident and troubleshooting expertise.
- Evaluating internal functions, IT processes and suggesting improvements.
- Suggesting ideas to reduce costs and complexity across IT and business to leadership.
- Providing input to business architecture and systems processing guidance.
- Working with archTIS’ clients to identify and achieve relevant business outcomes.
- Ensuring the efficiency, security, and support of the organisation’s infrastructure.
- Researching and developing designs and products.
- Determining the need for technical training and talent development.
- Determining and implementing buy vs build strategies, mentoring technical personnel, and providing views of the overall technology related business strategy.
- Writing technical options papers, technical design documents, and reports in clear and concise manner.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or relative experience.
- Extensive experience in Enterprise and/or Government ICT.
- Broad experience across multiple ICT scopes and technologies, especially within security-conscious environments.
- Proven delivery experience across broad end-to-end technical solutions.
- Excellent technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven team leadership, prioritisation and motivational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills essential, including writing proposals, reports and tender responses.
- Deals with sensitive information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
- Australian Citizen who is eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance to NV1.
- PREFERRED: Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance to NV1.
