You'll be part of a community that celebrates diversity and strives to provide every student with the opportunity to succeed academically and socially. **Key Responsibilities**: As the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) Coach at Fernbrooke SS, you will: - Lead the school's behaviour management framework, ensuring the consistent implementation of PBL strategies that align with the Department of Education's policies - Collaborate with staff to develop and refine school-wide behaviour expectations and interventions - Use data-driven approaches to identify areas for improvement and monitor the effectiveness of behaviour strategies - Provide coaching and professional development for teachers to enhance their behaviour management skills and support students' social-emotional learning - Work with the leadership team to embed PBL into the school culture, focusing on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment **Skills and Experience**: - Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and evidence-based practices - Experience in data collection and analysis to inform decision-making and improvement plans - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with staff, students, and the wider school community - Teaching qualifications and eligibility for teacher registration in Queensland - Previous experience as a PBL Coach or in a leadership role related to student wellbeing - Professional development or certification in PBL or related areas such as restorative practices or trauma-informed education - Familiarity with the Department of Education's strategic priorities, including 'Starting Strong' and 'Building on Those Foundations' - Experience working in diverse school environments with a commitment to fostering inclusive education **Applicants for these positions must possess**: - A relevant teaching qualification.
