About the Role

As a UX Researcher, you'll work closely with senior researchers, UX designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to uncover user needs, behaviours, and motivations. You’ll support small to medium-sized projects while developing hands-on experience in planning, conducting, and synthesising user research that directly impacts product direction and user experience.

Reporting into the Lead UX Researcher, this is a permanent full-time role, to be based in Chatswood Sydney head office, along with a hybrid home/office arrangement to support a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities- Assist in conducting user research for products and features using qualitative and (optionally) quantitative methods- Support small to mid-sized projects, guided by experienced senior researchers- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand research objectives and align on key questions- Analyse and synthesise data into actionable insights- Advocate for user needs across design, product, and development teams- Stay informed about competitor products and industry trends- Help with research operations including participant recruiting and compliance processes

Requirements- A degree in Psychology, Human Factors, Anthropology, Human Geography, or a related field.- 1-3 years of experience user research, preferably within a product or technology environment- Familiarity with a variety of research methodologies (interviews, observations, usability testing, task analysis, etc.)- Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional setting- Curious about complex systems like the legal industry (no legal background required)- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset- Eagerness to learn and develop your research toolkit
