**The Role**:
The Business Controller’s mission is to ensure adequate internal control processes are in place whilst taking the role as strategic business partner in the company, creating value through excellent guidance and support which assists management to make informed judgements that help drive business strategy.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with The Way We Do Things and the business requirements
- Promote digitalisation in the finance department to drive change and create efficient, best practice processes
- Coordinate a customer focused finance department which supports the business to be outward looking and responsive to customers’ expectations and needs
- Understand the key drivers of the organization and how internal changes can impact the overall performance
- Build strong internal relationships to gain greater trust and greater influence in making judgments.
- Act as a catalyst in driving initiatives critical to delivering business strategy
- Establish a culture that encourages behaviours and actions to embrace growth, change and innovation
- Create early warning indicators to anticipate any deviations in future expectations

**What we expect of you?**
- Minimum of 5 years practical experience in business control or in a senior accounting or business controller support role.
- University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a similar discipline who can demonstrate sound knowledge of accounting practices.
- Dynamic and results oriented person, capable of working on your own as well as enjoy being part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills, good attention to detail and a respect for deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills. Open personality, able to communicate effectively with employees and colleagues at all levels.
- The skills and mindset required to motivate, engage and coach your team and the organisation to create lasting results together.
- Ability to deliver best practice solutions and embrace and drive towards digitalisation
- Strong PC skills in MSOffice and SAP experience is ideal.
