**Position Purpose**
- To monitor alarm activations from schools, dispatch security guards to respond to alarms, and coordinate essential urgent repair services to Departmental property.
- **Your main responsibilities**:

- Monitoring of alarm systems
- Dispatch alarm responses
- Placement of security manpower resources and essential urgent repair services
- Monitor the Campus CCTV system
- Monitor, control and maintain Access Control to the site
- Provide Customer Service to all stakeholders
- Investigate and appropriately action all complaints received by stakeholders.
- Reporting incidents and breach of Security immediately
- Assist in training of staff
- Complete documentation that accompanies any of the above activities
- Possess current First Aid certificate
- Full New South Wales Drivers Licence
- Hold a valid New South Wales Class 1 ACE Security Licence
- Be prepared to work AM/PM shift work rosters with varying hours of attendance including weekend work.
- Be physically fit, well presented/ groomed with pleasant disposition
- Have strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Able to work well and remain calm under pressure
- Have effective communication skills both verbal and written communication
- Demonstrate a strong customer focus and be able to live our values
- Good understanding and experience in WHS and emergency response management procedures;
- Strong experience in conflict resolution;
- Good report writing skills.
- Be capable of learning new skills quickly
- Exceptional Customer service skills
- Being flexible and adaptable

**Key Responsibilities**
- Be professional and courteous to all staff and clients
- Perform inductions to ensure continued WH&S of site
- Oversee & assist customer with observations of site WH&S procedures
- Professional liaising with State Police, Emergency Services and all stakeholders
- Open communications with colleagues and client representatives
- Ability to compile precise and professional reports
- Attend all rostered shifts and conduct handover will relieving staff, being punctual for all shifts
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
- Ability to maintain detailed records
- Ability to maintain and enter data into data base
- Submit precise and professional detailed incident reports as required
- Be able to work unsupervised
