**About the opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, appropriately qualified and experienced team member to join our Greenspace Services section on a permanent, full-time basis.

**Qualifications and experience**

**Essential**:

- Class MR driver's licence
- Extensive experience in maintenance of Open Space areas including sports fields, parks, reserves, gardens.

**Desirable**:

- RTA approved traffic controller implementation accreditation
- Relevant qualifications
- Chainsaw operation certificate of competence
- RTA approved traffic controller accreditation.

**Remuneration and benefits**

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,156.81 per week
- 38-hour working week on a six-week roster including 4 Saturday’s within the six-week period
- Rostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnight
- Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 11.5% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
