MAIN RESPONSIBILTIES

Ensure that Behaviour support plans are developed and reviewed, assessments are completed.

Provide implementation and training of behaviour support plans to all relevant stakeholders

Involvement and interventions in Early Childhood Supports

Undertake relevant assessments to identify causal factors of challenging behaviour in order to establish effective strategies and plans that address the behaviour and enhance the quality of life for the individual

Provide coaching, modelling and support to stakeholders including but not limited to families, support workers, and managers to ensure support relevant parties are competent in the implementation of support strategies and aware of their responsibilities and how to effectively implement the plan.

Implement, capture and analyse data in order to monitor the plan’s effectiveness, review challenging behaviour and make any changes where required.

Meet operational, clinical, legal and financial performance targets.

Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, young people and people with a disability.

Assisting people in the understanding and adjustments of attitudes, expectations and behaviour

Developing and writing comprehensive Behavioural Support Plans

Reviewing PBS plans developed by our internal clinicians

Working in a variety of environments, predominantly community environments, as required

Communicate the company’s NDIS policies and processes to all employees and is also responsible for communicating risks and responsibilities for NDIS system.

Take reasonable care for your own health and safety

Report any incident or hazards to the relevant Manager or Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Tertiary qualification in psychology, allied health, or board-certified behaviour analyst (BCBA) or Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the professional body

Current AHPRA Registration

Current National Police Check

Working with Children Check.

First Aid certificate and CPR

NDIS Workers Orientation

100 Points of ID

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 20 per week
