Government Agency seeks a Procurement Specialist to join their team at a great rate of pay (Sydney CBD)

**Your new company**
This well-known Government Agency requires a Procurement & Innovation Specialist for a 9 month assignment to join their team at a great rate of pay. This job is located in Sydney CBD and offers hybrid working flexibility.

**Your new role**
In your new position, you will design and establish a specific function for government support for start-ups and innovation. You will develop and implement grant programs to support collaboration between R&D and small business, and investment programs to address market failures in access to capital by certain market segments. You will develop and implement an action plan to improve NSW Government efforts and develop initiatives to help startups. You will liaise with stakeholders across government, academia and industry. You will navigate government processes and policy; and manage project delivery.

**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered in this role you will have public sector procurement experience. You will have excellent innovation skills and be able to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
