Are you an experienced Treatment Plant Operator hoping for a new position leading up to Christmas?

This position within Local Government is a highly sought after role based in Beenleigh. You will work to operate Logan Water's process plants and ensure compliance with the environmental authority conditions.

You will work Monday to Friday with the addition of 1 in 3 weekends and on call duties with a casual hourly pay of $39.00 + allowances and overtime paid.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor plant processes and ensure operational performance targets are achieved
- Record, interpret and analyse plant performance data including lab results and SCADA trends
- Troubleshoot plant operational issues, identify and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Collect samples and carry out simple bench top lab tests
- Monitor assets and ensure that maintenance issues are raised

**About You**:

- Current C class driver's license
- White card
- Experience in working with water/wastewater treatment plants
- Current vaccinations or willing to get Hep A, Hep B, Tetanus and Qfever
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to use computer software with experience with SCADA systems advantageous
