About the Role
Reporting to the National Plant Manager, you will be responsible for maintenance and servicing of general and specialised road construction equipment and trucks. Including, major overhauls and motor rebuilds as well as workshop administrative duties
Duties
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective and productive working relationships;
- A commitment to safe work practices producing quality workmanship within the required timeframe;
- Be available to travel throughout South Queensland and possible interstate
- Ability to work various hours depending on work load as required
- Well-developed communication skills along with a team-orientated outlook.

Skills & Experience
- Australian Recognised relevant trade certificate and qualifications (heavy vehicle mechanic qualifications essential);
- 5-10 years Heavy Diesel Mechanic experience
- Maintenance and servicing experience on small and large equipment
- Previous experience working in planned and reactive maintenance environments, diagnosis, overhaul and maintenance repairs of heavy mobile plant and equipment
- Current unrestricted HR Australian Drivers Licence (HC license is preferred)
