Despite medical advancements, animal lifespans are on the decline. Today, the average pet only reaches 37% of their full potential lifespan and statistics have shown us that many suffer from dental disease, cancer, and obesity. Simply put, the status quo is not enough.

**The Team**:
Lyka is growing and is on the hunt for a passionate and analytically-minded Strategy Manager to help us evaluate and operationalise opportunities for growth. Reporting to the VP of Strategy, you will work cross-functionally to help shape critical strategic and business development initiatives for the company. The Strategy function sits within Lyka’s broader Strategy & Analytics team.

**What you will do?**:

- Lead analytical and research-based projects to support the development of Lyka’s near
- and long-term strategy
- Projects could include: go/no-go decisions on net-new business units, addressable market and customer segmentation analysis, channel optimisation, manufacturing & supply chain network optimisation, build vs. buy analysis, and more
- Synthesise data and research findings into insightful strategic recommendations; help communicate key findings to senior leadership
- Support quarterly and annual strategic planning, including target development and performance tracking
- Manage end-to-end project timelines, and support stakeholder management throughout
- Work cross-functionally across the organisation, partnering closely with Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Product, R&D, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, and other teams across a variety of projects
- Manage junior team members on individual work-streams within complex projects
- Live and work in accordance with Lyka’s values and principles at the workplace

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in a highly analytical and strategic role (management consulting and/or corporate strategy experience is required)
- Experience at a high-growth, consumer products company is a plus
- Ability to translate data and insights into strategic recommendations
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, often changing environment
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Great attention to detail and self-motivation
- Management experience a plus
- Proficient in MS Office; Tableau and SQL experience a plus
- A strong team player (no job is too small or too large)
