Microsoft D365 System Analyst

Purpose of position:
We are looking for a Microsoft D365 System Analyst in the SCM domain. This position is a permanent full-time role and will be based in Sydney.

Job Responsibilities:

- Working with end client users to formulate and document business requirements
- Identifying, investigating, and analysing end client business processes, procedures and work practices
- Identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behaviour
- Acting as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision making process
- Demonstrate the ability to work systematically and logically to analyse situations, resolve problems, identify causes and anticipate implications
- Manage user and stakeholder expectations
- Identify risks and issues with appropriate escalation channels to ensure timely project delivery
- Assist with presales activities and engagement proposals as and when required

Job Tasks:

- Using agile project management methodologies, principles and techniques to execute sprint plans
- Taking responsibility for deploying solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system
- Creating user and training documentation, and conducting formal training classes
- Developing functional specifications for use by system developers
- Document Business processes and relevant associated documentation
- Using data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of system software
- Gather system, data requirements through a variety of techniques (workshops, interviews, etc) and translating these into functional solutions (configurations).
- Undertake business analysis workshops and create system requirements document, system design documents and contribute to sprint plans.
- Contribute to the solution design and system set-up
- Establish test plans and develop customer-specific customizations
- Lead end user training activities

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

- Bachelor of Technology or equivalent
- Must have worked on Enterprise accounts of scale delivering D365 solutions
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes and features within D365
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and features within D365
- Must have good experience in delivering data migration solutions involving D365
- Deep functional background with relevant experience of using reporting tools and understanding of how D365 ERP is used in the business operations.
- Planning and Prioritization skills
- Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies.
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- Operational Support - required to support Senior Managers in deploying solutions
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Experience in Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and assistance in deployment
- Excellent and Professional level interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and team player
- Ability to lead a team of graduate functional consultants
- Architecture/ Design / Detailing of Enterprise Resource Planning Business Processes

Experience Needed:

- 4-6 years’ experience in Microsoft D365 F&O
- Solid experience working in Distribution, Retail, Manufacturing and Supply Chain industries

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
