A bit about your role

The Agile Coach works under the leadership of the Executive Manager Agile Coaching and Practices, to help set the direction for SEO with respect to Agile adoption and implementation. The role is pivotal to shaping an agile way of thinking and working across SEO. You will be a recognised SME and champion of Agile practices and bring your thought leadership and extensive experience to drive a continuous uplift in SAFe maturity. Your passion for leading change will be self-evident and you will have superior influencing skills.

As well as driving SEO adoption of an Agile DevSecOps model, the role is accountable for interfacing with the rest of nbn to help drive alignment in the agile process rollout. You will work with teams right across SEO to understand how the work gets done, and how customer value is created in the organisation, and coach them to make improvements.

You will support the Executive Manager of the team to make a ‘step change’ in our mindset and organisational culture as it relates to how we improve our processes to deliver and operationally support software systems in SEO. You will work with the SEO Transformation team and support the implementation of new ways of working. Critical to this will be uplifting the awareness and knowledge of Agile across the management cohort in SEO and the wider nbn.

A bit about you

You will have extensive experience in Agile methodology, particularly in the planning cycle process, managing complex implementation of Agile and DevSecOps development practices and transformations in large Agile business environments.

You have a customer-led mindset, and an ability to drive change through your strong communication skills in facilitation, presentation, and negotiation. You will have the ability to influence people at all levels to sell a vision for the need for process improvement. A deep understanding of Change Management, Issue & Risk management, and Program management skills is ideal.

Tertiary qualification in a Technology or Business discipline and Formal Agile accreditation is valuable.
