Human Resources Coordinator

12-month, fixed-term contract role working Monday - Friday, 38hrs per week.

Therefore, successful internal stakeholder engagement, while developing strong, and trusting business relationships is a priority. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Coordinator that wants to gain experience and knowledge in the Underground Mining Industry, whilst also making a difference and leaving a lasting impact during the time they are with Bis.

**Requirements of the Role**:

- Assisting with Industrial and Employment Relations matters.
- Workforce and succession planning.
- Performance management.
- Development and talent management.
- Onboarding and offboarding of employees.
- Assist with investigations and disciplinary processes.
- Provide general guidance on interpretation of EA’s, awards, agreements, and relevant legislation.
- General HR duties as required.

**To succeed in this role, you must**:

- Tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline such as human resources, industrial relations or organisational psychology preferred.
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role in a heavy industry environment
- Previous experience using HRIS and other HR Tools.
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Organisational Skills
- Ability to manage fluctuating workloads.
- Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent communication skills - Interpersonal, written and verbal.

**Who is Bis?**

Bis own the largest fleet of Underground Hire Equipment in the Coal Mining Industry. We provide casual and long-term hire of run of mine equipment including Load Haul Dump (LHD) Machines, Graders and Personnel Transporters. Bis also provide casual and long-term hire of Longwall Move Equipment including Mules, Heavy Lift Load Haul Dump Machines, Pan Pickers and Dozers, ensuring greater security and flexibility while preserving valuable capital for our clients.

Our Diesel and Electrical Services Division offer complete equipment overhauls, scheduled servicing and machine repairs using the workshop base, and field service crews equipped to operate autonomously at the site of the customer.
