Our Federal Government is seeking a skilled
**Scrum Master** to lead an agile teams to deliver new Node.JS API microservices

**About the team**:
DAPS (Data, Acquisition, Prefill and Sharing) is a large multi-year transformational program which will establish a new data platform in the cloud for the department using a variety of AWS PaaS services. The program operates using a scaled agile release train made up of agile teams utilising Scrum. These teams consist of developers, system analysts, testers, a product owner and a scrum master.

**Overview of the role**:
The purpose is to provide operational processing as a part of the larger data pipeline that is being developed in the cloud. The Scrum Master helps the team to remove impediments, facilitates team events, and fosters an environment for high-performing teams.

**About the role**:

- Enable the team to complete their sprint and PI objectives and to resolve impediments and blockers
- Facilitate team events, such as sprint planning, demos, backlog refinement, team retrospectives and daily stand-ups
- Contribute to release train activities, such as system showcases, backlog refinement, release train retrospectives, scrum of scrums and PI planning
- Manages the TFS board and ensures requirements are met for agreed scope
- Collaborate with Product Owner to ensure that there is a backlog of work ready for the team to pick up
- Guide and develop the team in normalised estimation techniques to improve the predictability of user stories, features, capabilities and epics

**Ideally, you will have**:

- Previous experience managing agile teams on large fast paced cloud transformational programs utilising the SAFe framework
- Ability to lead, educate, coach and develop others in Agile frameworks, techniques, processes and tools
- Ability to Identify and analyse risks, issues and opportunities, develops and leads change strategies, and supervises outcomes to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills to tailor and present highly complex technical information to various audiences
- Proficiency in Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe is required

**Desirable, but not essential**:

- Azure DevOps/Team Foundation Server (TFS)
