One of Australia\'s leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced **Scrum Master **to ensure the project team successfully implements scrum principles. You will also provide coaching and lead meetings when required. The role will be based in Canberra with the successful **Scrum Master **to be a offered a **12-month contract** **partnered with multiple extensions.**

The successful** Scrum Master **will be responsible for the below:

- Leading daily stand-up meetings and taking responsibility for Sprint Planning and Retrospectives
- Maintaining relevant metrics to monitor, control and forecast risks
- Assisting the business in prioritising and maintaining the product backlog
- Working closely with vendors to ensure internal scrum practices are aligned

The successful **Scrum Master **must have the following:

- Working knowledge of Agile tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira
- Scrum Master certifications
- Experience working as a Scrum Master, Iteration Manager or Agile Project Manager
- Well developed analytical and conceptual skills
