**The role**
We are seeking a case manager who will work within our residential residential care programs and will oversee all of the case management of the programs. This position is a full-time role based primarily in the Ipswich and Southwest regions. This role is primarily a Monday to Friday role, however, does include some after-hours and Oncall work. The role will be flexible to meet the needs of the young people and suit the right applicant.
To be successful in this role you will need to be flexible in your approach and experience, with a desire to make a difference in Children and family's lives. You will have knowledge, particular to managing a high-paced trauma-informed environment, to support and develop the teams. The role is currently based in the Ipswich/ Southwest region, however, there is flexibility for work from home also.
The pay rate and working conditions are negotiable for the right applicant. You will be provided with tools of the trade such as a mobile phone and laptop.
**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Regular reporting to Child Safety - completing incident reports and regular progress reports.
- Role modeling, guiding and supporting the direct care workers who work within the services and demonstrating practice excellence in therapeutic work and trauma recovery.
- Development and implementation of Care planning and Safety planning for the young people we support.
- Key contact for all programs with all Stakeholders and attend regular stakeholder meetings.
**Qualifications & experience**
- A paid blue card
- Current Valid driver's license
- Either completed or enrolled in a certificate IV or higher in a relevant field.
- Ability to complete and pass a criminal history check
- desire to make a change in children's lives
- Diploma or higher in relevant qualification
- Experience working with complex trauma and preferable experience in out of home care.
- Supervisory and leadership experience
