An exciting opportunity to join the Special Buys Team has become available within the National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. **This is a permanent full-time role.**

**What we are looking for**:
**What the role looks like**
- Researching current and future trend forecasting to translate into new opportunities for business outcomes
- Monitoring national and international market trends
- Communicating with key stakeholders in the business (this may include Buying Directors, Marketing, CR) as well as develop creative presentations for the wider team.
- Supporting range execution through range development, product coordination and marketing briefings
- Creative thinker, with ability to generate ideas and translate into visual representations
- Translating key trends into commercial concepts through design direction, materials and key colours within mood boards
- Colour selection and conversion between different colour systems

**A bit about you**
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar environment
- Tertiary qualification in design
- Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills with proficiency in MS Suite
- Demonstrated experience using Adobe Creative suite
- Previous experience with mood boards
- High level written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised
- Demonstrated flexibility to work across ad hoc tasks
- Ability to take on responsibility, work autonomously and be a team player

This role reports to the Director - Buying.
