**Position Overview**:
As a Machine Operator / CAD Designer at Fencing & Gate Centre, you will play a critical role in bringing our customers' visions to life. You will be responsible for creating custom CAD designs based on customer specifications, and then utilising our state-of-the-art laser and CNC routers to manufacture precision fencing and gate components.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**CAD Design**: Collaborate with customers to understand their unique design requirements and translate them into detailed CAD drawings.

**Manufacturing Setup**: Configure laser and CNC routers for production based on CAD designs.

**Quality Control**: Ensure the accuracy and quality of manufactured components, making any necessary adjustments.

**Efficiency**: Optimize machine settings for speed and efficiency while maintaining product quality.

**Safety**: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

**Communication**: Coordinate with the sales team and customers to confirm design approvals and delivery timelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for 2D and 3D design.
- Experience with CNC routers or laser cutting machines is a plus, but training can be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and customer requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Safety-conscious and able to adhere to safety guidelines.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 43 per week

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- CAD: 1 year (preferred)
