**The Opportunity**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement maintenance strategies for cast products equipment and machinery
- Manage the maintenance team, including scheduling and assigning work, setting performance goals, and providing training and development opportunities
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure efficient and effective maintenance activities
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through equipment upgrades and maintenance optimisations
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and company policies
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets and monitor expenditures
- Develop short, medium and long term maintenance plans
- Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment reliability and production output

**About You**
- A degree in Engineering or significant heavy industrial and leadership experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within heavy manufacturing industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques, including preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
- Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations
- Experience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other maintenance software tools
- Formal leadership qualification such as Diploma in Frontline Management (Advantageous).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
