We are looking for a coordinator to work within our Operational Performance Team. Based in Sydney Olympic Park at the NSW Rural Fire Service State Headquarters, the role will report to the Supervisor Operational Performance & Reporting.

Performance & Reporting is part of the Operational Performance Team (7), within the Training & Doctrine Group, in the Preparedness and Capability Directorate. The main functions of the team include operational performance oversight, operational planning and reporting, operational improvement - lessons management, and operational doctrine (policy and procedures).

To be successful you will require experience in developing, reviewing and drafting Operational Doctrine. This will include contemporising NSW RFS’s Incident Management Procedures, Operational Management Procedures, Operational Protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.
- A strong ability to draft and improve operational doctrine
- An ability to forge strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, especially involving volunteers
- Project management and reporting skills
