We are currently seeking a** Regional Operations Manager** to support our Defence Base Services contract in Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia (SE Zones).

As the Regional Operations Manager, you will manage the performance of the Defence EMOS business units through your proven P&L Leadership, your achievement contractual compliance, across Operations and Estate Management, Innovative commercial and BU level improvements and transformation programs, through to ongoing growth of the overall business through leveraged growth of Defence Base Services contracts and allied commercial opportunities.

**What you will be doing**:

- Provide the current FY commercial leadership and operational management of the SE regional business in direct support of the Project Director (GM SE/SA Defence)
- Direct shared P&L accountability for the delivery of SE Regional aggregated budgets with a circa existing value of $300m
- Develop and lead the direct P&L Contract EMOS Managers and their businesses with strong strategic and operational leadership, advice and improvement of processes and systems
- Strategically support the regional oversight for delivery of operational services in addition to the effective project management and revenue growth
- Deliver whole of regional business recommendations and efficiencies leading to balanced outcomes with intent to mitigate risk and reducing costs whilst maintaining contract compliance
- Build and maintain excellent working partnerships with internal and external key stakeholders by providing high level advice and support, focused on organizational excellence
- Executive level and functional SHEQ support functions.

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualification and/or significant experience in an Operational and P&L Leadership role within a similar mixed solution workforce across Asset Solutions and Services, Project Management and/or Operations Management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of complex scalable client solutions leadership within an asset management and facilities management
- Demonstrated management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level.
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to manage and lead teams.
- Identity and promote key talent and provide targeted step-up opportunities
- An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
