Leading global consumer electronics brand seeking an experienced Category Manager to drive our sales & marketing strategy across ANZ, developing and maintaining strategic business relationships across all retail partners to maximise brand exposure and profitability.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement strategic sales & marketing plans to deliver business results for the category
- Utilise key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for the team
- Budget preparation & monitoring, including providing regular reports on performance & variance analysis
- Achieving agreed category and product mix sales and gross margin targets
- Building and maintaining key relationships with national retail partners
**Experience**:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a similar field
- Experience within the consumer electronics industry coupled with & relevant product knowledge
- Exceptional influencing, negotiation & communication skills
- Outstanding stakeholder relationship skills, and commercial acumen
- Demonstrated experience in successfully developing and implementing strategic marketing plans
- Advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in Microsoft office
