**About the role**

We are working in partnership with a Federal Government affiliated organisation. Our client is looking for a collaborative team player to join their team as a Procurement Coordinator.

This role is perfect for someone who has a keen eye for detail, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to learn and grow. While experience in finance and procurement operations would be a plus, it's not a necessity - we're ready to help you learn the ropes.

**Responsibilities/Duties**
- Undertaking a range of activities to support the Procurement team and Agency as directed with objective of reducing the administrative, repeatable and transactional tasks undertaken across processes and activities across delivering procurement services to stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and proficient knowledge of Excel reflected in services delivered.

**Skills and Experience**
- Providing strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to liaise with and build professional relationships with management and staff at all levels, and external parties.
- Working as a member of a team in a busy office environment and adapt to daily challenges while effectively completing tasks within set timeframes.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process or team improvement and to implement them.
- Providing other activities and deliverables as requested by the Buyer from time to time; and
- Undertaking all activities in accordance with Procurement policies, Commonwealth Procurement Rules and other required steps as highlighted by the Agency, with an accountability on the Service Provider to ensure activities are performed in alignment to them.
