Leading 4PL services company are seeking an established Procurement Specialist to join their team.

A market leading logistics company where the 4PL Services business focuses on providing end-to-end supply chain management of commodity products and relocation services for a key government client.
**Your new role**
Working as part of an established on-site supply chain team focused on end to end logistics service delivery for a key client.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing updates on delivery of procurement activities to various stakeholders
- Create Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders as directed and in compliance with all Commonwealth of Australia Procurement policies
- Provide updates to internal stakeholders on any delayed or problematic procurement activities
- Provide regular reporting as required by the customer and distribute to internal stakeholders as required
- Work with internal sourcing, procurement, and transport operations teams to provide updates to the customer and minimise any delays on orders
- Identifying and implementing Procurement improvement initiatives (e.g. process improvements and tools implementation)
- Provide support to the customer for any internal audit activities
- Prepare quarterly performance reports and attend quarterly performance reviews
- Engaging with sourcing and category management in the shortlisting/selection of preferred suppliers
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you'll come with a track record of minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain and Procurement.
You will bring a well-developed understanding of contract management and supplier management as well as proven experience in the coordination and effective delivery of multi-disciplined performance-based contracts.
A proven track record of working with internal stakeholders, at all levels (including senior management) being a self-starter, able to work autonomously and taking responsibility for decisions, highly motivated able to inspire excellent influencing skills.
Experience working within a Commonwealth Government context, and/or current Baseline Clearance will also be highly regarded.
If you have exposure to SAP Ariba or MILIS, that will also be highly advantageous.
