**The Role**
The Heavy Air Lift System Program Office (HALSPO) Governance Manager is a pivotal role to assure the overarching resources, systems, frameworks, processes are in place and within the regulatory framework to deliver agreed outcomes.

You will draw on teams across a complex and diverse matrix of stakeholders from within Defence and Industry at all levels to assure performance and regulatory compliance.

You will be expected to leverage your experience and knowledge to:

- Recommend, communicate and provide intelligent analysis that will drive empirical based decision making
- Facilitate and coordinate value adding reporting of the health and state of the Governance Management framework and supporting systems.
- Shape, influence and drive compliance and initiate innovative remedial actions on behalf of HALSPO and in conjunction with its Enterprise partners.

**About our Team**
The Heavy Air Lift Systems Program Office (HALSPO) provides sustainment support for four products including the C-17A Globemaster III Heavy Lift Transport, KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport, Boeing Business Jet and Falcon 7X Special Purpose Aircraft.

These fleets form the backbone of the Strategic Air Mobility capability within Defence and are utilised for roles ranging from humanitarian support to high end operations.

This position is located at RAAF Base Amberley.

The Governance Manager will work within the HALSPO Business Management Unit and be responsible for leading, facilitating and coordinating strategic governance across the HALSPO enterprise including, assurance and compliance, auditing and corporate reporting activities for HALSPO.

You will have the ability to leverage your knowledge and experience to deliver a Governance Framework that supports the successful delivery of HALSPO outcomes.
