Executive Services and Marketing Officer

About the Role
Carry out a range of duties as directed, including but not limited to the following:
Annual Magazine
- Project manage/act as a production editor for the Annual Magazine, which is published each year; ensure the magazine is delivered on time and within budget
- Liaise with multiple content contributors (staff and students) at any one time, ensuring content submitted meets the article and photo guidelines.
- Proofread text and edit photos to maintain integrity of the story and the school
- Design and layout pages of the magazine, ensuring each page is ready for print and digital publication

Graphic Design
- Collaborate with staff to produce a range of design outcomes for projects including school-wide certificates (i.e. data merge of up to 1,200 certificates for one event), posters, maps, logos and branding, advertisements and billboards, fillable forms and reports, invitations, PowerPoints, signage, event programs, seating plans and name badges
- Design and maintain annual school publications (e.g. Senior and Junior course guides)
- Liaise with external suppliers to assist staff with the printing and production of items
- Maintain the school's Visual Identity Guide and support staff with ensuring the VIG is used across internal and external content

Marketing
- Assist the Communications & Marketing Manager to develop and maintain a proactive and consistent online and social media presence to promote the school
- Provide assistance with the production of school publications and promotional material as required, including the school newsletter and maintaining content for the school's websites to ensure information is accurate and up to date

Other duties
- Provide assistance for school photo days, including liaising with the photographers and staff members to ensure photos are checked, corrected and prepared for distribution and publication;Liaise with external suppliers in some cases, especially with printing
- Other general administrative tasks as required

**Highly Desirable**:

- Diploma in Graphic Design or similar.
- Demonstrated Marketing skills with an emphasis on social media engagement, newsletter creation, website maintenance and production of promotional material
- Advanced knowledge and skills with using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe software such as Premier Pro and After Effects
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge and skills with using Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and SharePoint
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- High level of written communication skills, including proofreading skills and high level of attention to detail skills
- Knowledge of printing processes, digital publication processes; and use of wide-format poster printer
- Ability to assist in the digital organisation of files

**A mandatory requirement of this role is**:

- In accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 a person is prohibited from working in regulated child-related employment unless the person holds a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
