robust PCR optimisation and trouble shooting skills?**:

strong understanding of genetics and genetic mutations?**

The Genotyping Core Manager will ensure effective workflow planning for the genotyping of genetically modified samples and mycoplasma testing of cell lines. The role includes active laboratory work as part of the team and training staff in Genotyping Core practices.

The Core Manager will contribute to the development of new methods, the implementation of new technologies within the core and work collaboratively with staff and students in Laboratory Research.

The Core Manager is responsible for providing effective leadership and management of the facility, establishing an innovative core service for researchers and students.

The position is offered at 0.8 EFT at Academic Level B equivalent.
