**About the Role**
Vocus are seeking a detailed oriented & communicative Database Administrator to join the team, based in either Melbourne, Victoria or Perth, Western Australia. The Database Administrator is responsible for providing ongoing operational support for the internal Vocus databases, platforms and related systems.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to:

- Provide ongoing operational support for the Vocus Databases platforms and related systems.
- Maintain the integrity, availability, reliability, performance, optimisation, capacity and recoverability of Vocus Databases.
- Assist in the maintenance of the Vocus disaster readiness capacity and procedures.
- Support and assist solution architects, developers and related staff in appropriate and optimised methods to create, access and maintain scalable structured data.
- Assist and knowledge between DBA team.

**About You**
- 1+ year of data entry/data administration experience
- Working knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL and Informix
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Good communication skills, ability to communicate effectively verbally in and written form with internal stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow and refine established procedures
