Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Database Administrator located in Melbourne, VIC. The Database Administrator will be responsible for database administration, design, troubleshooting, and replication. Day-to-day tasks will include maintaining database performance, ensuring data availability, designing database architecture, implementing data replication, and resolving any database-related issues. The Database Administrator will also collaborate with development teams to ensure data consistency and optimize database performance.

Qualifications

  • Database Administration and Database Design skills
  • Troubleshooting and Databases skills
  • Replication experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with various database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Certification in database management (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) is a plus
