**The position**

In this position, you will mentor and support the South Metro, South West and Pilbara roles within the Child, Youth and Family Services team. The role requires the ability to perform client facing services whilst guiding and developing team members professionally, enhancing their capacity to deliver outstanding, safe and quality services to clients.
- Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):_
- Performing client facing services, including counselling and support, advocacy and workshop facilitation
- Providing mentoring and coaching support strategies to team members, and facilitating regular constructive feedback and performance sessions
- Submitting and approving budgets within delegation and in consultation with Executive Child, Youth and Family Services to contribute to the effective delivery of contracts
- Reporting, documenting and ensuring effective communication updates with Executive Child, Youth and Family Services

**About You**

This role will require the ability to work one evening shift per week (11:30am to 7:36pm)

Minimum qualifications:

- Tertiary Degree in Counselling, Psychology or Social Work
- Minimum of 3 years counselling experience
- Current Drivers license
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
- Working with Children Card
- Current First Aid Certificate
