**How will I help?**

Please note this role will require attendance at our Paramatta Office at least one day per week.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting employees and people leaders with navigation of Westpac’s Payroll self-service system.
- Processing of payroll transactions including separations, higher duties allowance, workers compensation payments, garnishees, govt paid parental leave payments, Salary continuance payments, super choice forms, tool of trade, car parking etc
- Meeting defined Service Level Agreements.
- Driving Continuous Improvement by identifying and implementing process improvement.
- Providing detailed recalculations of payments/overpayments and leave entitlements

This is a 2 year fixed term opportunity.

**What do I need?**
- Strong customer service focus
- Problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
- Proven written and oral skills
- Prior payroll experience or reconciliation is useful but not essential
- Experience in the use of Oracle payroll or similar
- Experience in a call centre environment
- Planning time management, decision making, attention to detail and organisation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to prioritise conflicting requests and manage customer expectations
