**The Role**

Reporting to the Global Payroll Manager, the Global Payroll Coordinator will assist in coordinating the end to end payroll process. Liaising with our external payroll providers, (principally ADP and Trinet) you will support the Global Payroll Manager to ensure the accurate, streamlined and efficient processing of payroll across all Megaport international entities.

In this role, you will gain exposure to global payroll functions and have the opportunity to be part of process improvement within the Payroll function.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Assist in the preparation and processing of end-to-end fortnightly and monthly payrolls for various regions (APAC, NAM, and Europe)
- Collate all payroll changes on a monthly and fortnightly basis (i.e. new starters, contract variations, leavers, absence, commission, etc.)
- Summarise the data and submit the payroll input to the local external payroll provider
- Review the pre-pay reports, collaborate with the external payroll provider if adjustments are needed, and then approve the reports
- Interpret and understand awards, agreements and individual contracts for all markets
- Prepare, reconcile and lodge superannuation, including 401(k) plans, UK pension and retirement funds ensuring compliance with state and regional legislation
- On a monthly basis prepare and lodge New Zealand PAYE and lodge payroll tax for Australia
- Assist with internal and external payroll queries and address any queries from the regional accountant
- Manage all employee leave queries, ensuring compliance with relevant leave policies
- Any other ad hoc activities as required

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- At least three years of recent payroll experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail is a must
- Experience in global payroll management and collaboration with external payroll providers worldwide
- Exposure to ADP and Trinet payroll systems would be advantageous
- Driven, motivated and highly organised
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A commitment to providing excellence in customer service
