Job description

LSA Health are seeking compassionate individuals who would like to be part of our wonderful and established Care team, supporting people with disabilities in their own homes across the Hunter valley region.
As a Carer, you'll be playing an important role assisting residents with their daily activities such as personal care, social support, transportation, Medication assistance, helping with meals and some domestic chores.
You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life, ensuring they feel safe and at home.
Your day will assist in
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene & care, help at mealtimes, support with domestic and leisure activities and general mobility
Deliver care in a timely, friendly, kind and safe manner
Ensure all personal care tasks are delivered with dignity and respect
Build relationships based on trust and compassion whilst working with each resident so they can continue to do the things they love
Complete and update necessary documentation and resident records
Deliver excellent customer service to residents, their families and any other external parties
Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
Ability to follow procedures as directed and in line with care plans
Ability to work as a team player with strong communication
Compassionate, dedicated, and caring nature with the ability to build strong rapports with others
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
Full COVID-19 vaccination and this year's influenza vaccination
Current police check
First Aid/CPR certificate
Full Australian working rights
