**Disability & Mental Health Support Worker**

Alana Care Support Services is seeking dedicated and experienced Disability and Mental Health Support Workers to join our compassionate team. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, personalized care for our participants, and we are looking for workers who share our commitment to fostering independence and dignity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support for participants with disabilities, including those who are wheelchair-bound.
- Perform PEG feeding and other complex care tasks with professionalism and care.
- Assist participants with a range of mental health challenges, ensuring their emotional and psychological well-being.
- Promote independence, social inclusion, and a safe environment for participants.
- Provide personal care, transport assistance, and help with daily activities.
- Flexibility with shift work, including weekend and split shifts, is essential.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- First Aid certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Completion of required NDIS Modules
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Minimum 1 year of experience in disability and mental health support
- Experience with PEG feeding and wheelchair-bound participants

**How to Apply**:

Pay: $31.76 - $45.58 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Mental health support: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
