**Disability & Mental Health Support Worker**

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges? Alana Care Support Services is seeking dedicated and experienced Disability and Mental Health Support Workers to join our compassionate team. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, personalized care for our participants, and we are looking for workers who share our commitment to fostering independence and dignity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support for participants with disabilities, including those who are wheelchair-bound.
- Perform PEG feeding and other complex care tasks with professionalism and care.
- Assist participants with a range of mental health challenges, ensuring their emotional and psychological well-being.
- Promote independence, social inclusion, and a safe environment for participants.
- Provide personal care, transport assistance, and help with daily activities.
- Flexibility with shift work, including weekend and split shifts, is essential.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- First Aid certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Completion of required NDIS Modules
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Minimum 1 year of experience in disability and mental health support
- Experience with PEG feeding and wheelchair-bound participants

**How to Apply**:

Pay: $31.76 - $45.58 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Mental health support: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:
