**Your New Role**:
12 Month Fixed Term Contract - An exciting opportunity exists in our Banking Team within our Retail business for highly motived and results driven Customer Service Consultant which will keep evolving in the ever dynamic banking business to be able to fulfil customer needs.
We are looking for a proactive and committed person who is particularly passionate about achieving exceptional results, receptive to continuous change whilst delivering a high quality customer experience and be a role model for peers.
Your key focus is to meet and exceed customer expectations by conducting a needs based conversation and fulfilling their needs.
- Opening new accounts and term deposits
- Insurance quotes and new business
- Customer Relationship building
- Take responsibility for managing own performance and improvement in development areas
- Proactively promote solutions and cross refer other group services affiliated with Australian Unity
- A strong customer focus and ability to connect with customers
- First point of contact for all customers enquiries in a timely manner.
- Take ownership and accountability for each customer interaction to ensure continued customer satisfaction
**About You**:
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven track record in banking, insurance or the financial services field either in a branch or contact centre environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including responding to customers in writing
- A genuine interest in career progression
- Previous experience working to set KPI’s
- Resilience in the face of reluctance
- Ambition for success and career development
- Excellent problem solving skills and a solution focussed attitude
