- Employment type - Temporary Part-Time - with a view to ongoing (8 days per fortnight), 8 hours per day
- Salary - Clerk Grade 5/6 - $93,295 - $102,941 (pro rata), + Super and annual leave loading

**Your role**

Working with the Curatorial and Collection team, you will assist in the management of the Anzac Memorial’s object collection. Working in most areas of collection management you will be contributing to documenting, organising and providing access to a collection of close to 8,000 objects. The successful applicant will work using the Anzac Memorial’s Vernon Collection Management System to catalogue the collection. The role reports to the Collection Manager.

**What you’ll do**
- Administer and catalogue the Memorial’s collection including reporting and documenting acquisitions, de-accessions and loans.
- Participate in the access of object information for public use including participating in the development of exhibitions and online resources.
- Examine and document the Memorial’s collection including assistance with programming and implementation of preventative conservation measures.
- Assist with risk management, security and care to safeguard the collection.
- Undertake annual stocktakes and contribute to the coordination of insurance, valuations, copyright and legal matters relating to the collection.
- Assist in operational planning and policy development.
- Provide exceptional internal and external customer service, responding to collection enquiries.

**What we’re looking for**
- Extensive experience and knowledge working with museum or gallery collections, including military history collections.
- Specific knowledge of collection management policies and procedures.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience using the Vernon CMS with additional Vernon Browser module experience.

**Essential requirements**
- Degree in History or related discipline, Museum Studies and relevant collections management experience.
