**The opportunity**

Our client is a community focused federal government agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for multiple APS5 Project Officer’s to oversee a range of service improvement initiatives to improve frontline capability and service delivery.

12-month initial contract with the view for extension. APS5 level role with an hourly rate of $53.63 per hour + Super, with the option to be based out of
**Melbourne or Geelong** with a hybrid work environment.

**The Team**

The Service Guidance and Practice Branch is responsible for the design and delivery of guidance improvements and system enhancements, to support the Agency's front line. The branch develops operational and practice guidance and standard operating procedures. This guidance enables front line staff, including Planners and Local Area Coordinators (LACs) to utilise processes to make consistent decisions when working with participants.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Developing high quality, evidence based operational policy and advice, planning resources including Operational Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, practice guides, letters, forms and tips.
- Providing service delivery expertise, technical system advice and procedural guidance around high level Scheme strategy, practice implementation and operational matters.
- Collaborating with the team to achieve project and business outcomes.
- Monitoring and reviewing project activities against plans.
- Implementing project activities that focus on improving frontline support.

**About you**
- Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement and management
- Prior experience within a project space
- ** Australian citizenship is required**:

- Prior government/public or Disability sector experience and the ability to navigate heavily regulated environments highly regarded
