**The opportunity**

Our client is a community focused federal government agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for a APS5 level Performance & Talent Advisor to join the Workforce & Capability team.

12-month initial Labour Hire contract with the opportunity to extend. APS 5 level role offering $55.24 hourly + Superannuation. This position will be based out of either Richmond or Geelong.

This is a hybrid position, offering 2 days working from home, with the remaining 3 on site. 37.5-hour work weeks, with 8-hour days expected.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Undertaking financial administration, facilitating the payment of invoices, receipt of goods and reconciliation of financial data and preparing periodic reports, incorporating the completion of end of month journal processing.
- Working in consultation with local leaders to build staff capability through coaching and training.
- Preparing correspondence, reports and briefing papers and assisting in the preparation of technical documents.
- Contributing to the development and management of project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency's project management framework.
- Providing advice, procedural guidance and technical expertise in specific areas of project work.
- Drafting a range of written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation for review.
- Assisting with the identification and management of project risks, issues and benefits.
- Assisting with project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.

**About you**
- ** Australian citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for this position**:

- Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed.
- decision-making and planning
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans.
