
APS5 Program Support Officer

This opportunity is with a community-focused federal government agency. Multiple APS5 Program Coordinators are required to assist the Technology Services Division in undertaking major work programs to deliver innovative fit-for-need ICT-based solutions. The role is a 12-month initial contract with a strong likelihood of extension, based in Richmond with an expectation of 2 days work-from-home and 3 days on site. The APS5 hourly rate is $55.24 + Super.
Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of program strategies.
- Provide senior level project management/administrative support and coordination.
- Create, maintain, and augment reports, analyses, and manage risks and issues registers.
- Collaborate with leaders and key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, assumptions, dependencies, value proposition, and impacted organizational functions and systems.
- Facilitate team meetings and manage a team kanban board.
- Serve as a communication link between team members and other stakeholders in the Scheme and Payment Platforms branch.
- Schedule and organise project meetings/workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
- Take a hands-on approach to guide and support the team.
- Safeguard program processes and documentation.

About you- 4-6 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Hands-on program management experience.
- Well-developed communications skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in projects, PMO or business administration.
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Jira & Confluence.
- Open to uplifting skills and adapting to new ways of working and tools.
- Comfortable with accessibility concepts and enthusiastic about accessible design & development.
