Melbourne, AUCYP Design & Construction Joint Venture (CYP D&C) has been contracted to design and build the tunnels and stations for the Metro Tunnel Project.

CYP D&C brings together three of Australia's leading construction partners John Holland, Lendlease, and Bouygues Construction.

The Metro Tunnel Project will untangle the City Loop by taking three of Melbourne’s busiest train lines through a new tunnel under the city. It will create a new end-to-end train line from Sunbury to Cranbourne/Pakenham, with twin nine-kilometre tunnels and five new underground stations at Arden, Parkville, Anzac, and two new CBD stations - State Library and Town Hall - which will directly connect to the City Loop.

We are recruiting for a T&C Defects Management Lead to manage defects associated with the CYP D&C Testing and Commissioning activities.

**Responsibilities of the role include;**
- Contribute to the overall delivery of the project, on or ahead of time with all client expectations met
- Contribute to deliver the works within budget, time, quality, and regulatory standards, monitor and guide workflow, setting daily, weekly, and long-term project goals
- Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements, and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates and take effective remedial action as required
- Demonstrate leadership in health, safety, and environmental management
- Contribute to new business, continuous improvement, and broader business activities
- Perform all duties in accordance with CYP policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedures
- Oversees the management of the T&C defects from their identification during the PICO or the testing up to their closure.
- Collect the defects from the CYP-D&C T&C Area Leads during the Level 1 and Level 2 testing,
- Collect the potentially relevant defects from the CYP-D&C T&C Area Leads, RIA, HCMT, RSA and MTM during the Level 3 and Level 4 testing,
- Inform the CYP-D&C T&C System Leads, the CYP-D&C T&C Area Lead and the CYP-D&C T&C Management Software Lead of the defect closure for organization of re-testing as required

**To be successful in this key role, you must have**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalent
- Previous experience working on major infrastructure projects
- Experience in multidisciplinary projects
- Proven administration skills
- Analysis and reporting on defects and/or non-conformance
- Strong IT skills
- Experience in managing large quantity of data
