**About the Team**
The **Business Support Officer **is part of our greater Operations Planning and Control team. This team is made up of our Business Support, Production and Facilities teams and service our Ann St facility in the Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.
**About the Role**
The Business Support Officer is responsible for providing support to the organisation such as travel management, meeting room requests, meeting room setup & reset and manages kitchen and office supplies. The Business Support Officer will manage the demands (raise PRs) for items that fall in this category as well as replenishing the items to their specific location.
This role is a key interface for the positive and professional experience at the reception desk and entrance of the building, while welcoming guests, suppliers and RDA employees and requires the ability to work flexibly in order to meet business requirements.
This role will also support any event taking place organised by RDA Management Team, RDA Leadership Team or RDA Strategy and Communication team.

- **Business Support Officer**, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
- Liase with building maintenance to address reactive and scheduled maintenance requirements;
- Liase with building management to ensure the RDA occupied space is seamlessly managed to ensure a productive and safe working environment to staff;
- Provide MILVEHCOE departmental assistance to Ann Street staff as the onsite conduit across IT, HR, HSE etc.;
- Providing administrative support to the Business as directed;
- Covering the attendance at the reception desk as well as focusing on the presentation of the building entrance area;
- Replenishing kitchen supplies and office supplies;
- Supporting events, including liaising with facilities, security, and catering as required for the maintenance, operation and use of the building;
- Organise and support use of meeting rooms - set up for meetings and reset, meeting and greeting guests, catering and administrative support as required;
- Support the Business in the adminstration of meeting room requests and related hardware (e.g. communication devices), catering and administrative support as required;
- Provide administrative and logistics support for domestic and international travel booking;
- Managing the mail domestically and internationally;
- Managing Condeco Workplace Software (setting up and removing employees, fielding questions, managing zones and business rules);
- Support as directed by Strategy & Communications Team - events and VIP events; room bookings, room set up and reset, organise PPE for visits, name badges, printing;
- Liaise with internal and external service providers as required;
- Participating in relevant project and events work when required;
- Providing back up support as required with purchase requests and purchases; and
- Other duties and responsibilities that may be required as determined with your manager from time to time.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role include:
- Experience in an administration support role;
- Experience liaising with senior executives and officials;
- Advanced MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Office 365), SAP and Adobe Acrobat;
- Ability to work flexible hours and support the physical events aspect of the role (moving chairs and tables, deliveries, moving in between buildings for event set up and reset);
- Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality at all times;
- Advanced interpersonal, communication and customer service skills;
- Comfortable working autonomously with mínimal direction and within a geographically dispersed team; and
- Possesses a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, organisational and time management skills.
