**The Opportunity**

Silk is currently looking for an experienced full time Operations Supervisor to join our experienced team based in Eastern Creek.

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Operations Supervisor will be responsible for:

- Providing an environment where safety issues and initiatives are effectively communicated to the team.
- Receiving instructions from the Site Manager and ensuring the successful communication to all employees within designated team.
- Ensuring all Customer and Company KPI’s including strict timelines are achieved.
- Adhere to the Company’s Quality Control Policy and Procedure.
- Make sure all stock is accounted for prior to a customer stocktake to ensure stock quality and integrity
- Ensure all orders are picked correctly to ensure the correct delivery of stock
- Leading, mentoring and developing you team to exceed all set goals set from yourself and supervisors
- Embracing change and managing it effectively within designated team to ensure business and customer requirements are met.
- Actively investigate productivity improvements for work flows and process of the workplace
- Performance management of team members in accordance with company policy and producers
- Certificate qualification in relevant field (desirable)
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar leadership role
- Knowledge of Red Prairie (JDE) Warehouse Management System highly desirable but not essential
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong customer focus
- Ability to make timely and sound decisions whilst working under pressure
- Previous experience with achieving consistent KPI’s
- Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills
