We're working with a leading Australian energy business that are looking to hire a construction lawyer, with procurement experience.
**Description**:

What will the role of Legal Counsel at a national energy business mean for you?
- As a Legal Counsel, you will work as part of small, high-performing legal team and offer expertise to the wider business units. You will develop your legal and commercial skills through exposure to a wide variety of legal tasks. You will maintain a close working relationship with the senior lawyer and General Counsel, offering every chance for learning and progression within the business. Your construction experience will be used to good effect with the work on offer and any procurement experience will be highly advantageous for the business moving forward.**How will this role develop your career?**
If you’re a private practice lawyer looking to broaden and deepen your skill set, or an in-house lawyer looking for a new challenge with an exciting business, this role will offer an excellent opportunity to learn and develop.**What type of person will be successful?**
- Admitted as a solicitor in Australia;
- 4-6 years PQE in construction, infrastructure or projects;
- Experience in procurement would be hugely beneficial;
- Excellent verbal communication skills with all levels of stakeholders;
- Solid understanding of the regulations that cover the financial services industry; and
- A willingness to work hard and take on new challenges within the legal team.
