**Your new role**
NSW State Emergency Service is recruiting for a Service Desk Manager to lead ICT activities, maintain relationships with stakeholders, and improve services. You'll guide the Service Desk team, ensuring customer-centric support for various clients and technologies while meeting agreed service levels. Oversee the evolution of the Agency Service Desk Platform, equip your team to tackle challenges, and report performance metrics.
There will be the art of juggling complex demands from stakeholders while ensuring customer service satisfaction.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be customer service focused
- Be proficient in managing the enhancement and maintenance of Service Desk technologies in varied ICT environments
- Ability to craft reports to highlight areas for improvement to better our team performance and customer outcomes
- Proven experience in managing and developing a team
- A solution focused attitude to work
- Relationship focused to maintain and nurture relationships with external suppliers
- Have relevant experience Relevant tertiary and/or professional qualifications in ICT or related discipline or significant demonstrated experience in relevant field
- A demonstrated understanding of a Service Desk Manager’s ITIL responsibilities

- Maximum TRP $149.617 (salary range $120,859 - $133,183). Total remuneration package includes salary plus employer's 11% contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
