**About the role**

As a Continuous Improvement Manager for our Merrifield site, you will have a huge impact on a variety of projects based at our highly advanced site in Mickleham, VIC

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be involved in supporting production teams to identify gaps and carrying out process improvement initiatives with a focus on safety, quality, responsiveness, and effectiveness. You will also be responsible for efficient tools and training on the site ensuring effective implementation of process.

Our site in Mickleham produces water based decorative paints in one of the most technologically advanced paint manufacturing facilities in the world.

**Responsibilities**
- Engaging with all teams on site to implement and drive improvements.
- Collaborating and coaching production teams to identify root cause of process deviations, inefficiencies and process constraints.
- Using LEAN manufacturing tools and structured problem-solving techniques to resolve issues and continually strive for improvement.
- Rolling out changes for ongoing process improvement across the site
- Developing and driving the site Continuous Improvement strategy

**Skills & Experience**
- Sound data analysis skills
- Excellent motivating and influencing skills
- The ability to implement and drive lasting change
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Continuous Improvement experience within a manufacturing environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles
