As the People and Culture Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the People & Culture function by assisting in HR administration, employee relations, compliance, and overall HR operations. This role ensures the seamless execution of HR processes and provide essential support to employees and management.
**A little about the role**
As a People & Culture Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our People & Culture Manager and broader team. Your day-to-day will include:
- Supporting employee relations, performance management, and compliance matters
- Assisting with HR policies, procedures, and documentation
- Responding to employee queries and providing HR guidance
- Coordinating HR communications, projects, and engagement initiatives
- Managing employee records and HR reporting
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle; onboarding, promotions, transitions, and offboarding
- Assisting with performance reviews and development planning
- Coordinating training sessions and supporting learning initiatives
- Help drive change management and employee engagement activities
- Monitoring leave balances and supporting managers with workforce planning
- Contributing to audits, compliance checks, and continuous process improvements
- Championing a positive, inclusive, and growth-focused team culture
**A little about you**:
- Essential_
- Degree in Human Resources or similar field
- 2-3 years’ experience in a HR Administration role, ideally in Retail or Hospitality
- Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Knowledge of employment laws and compliance (e.g., Fair Work Act, WHS regulations)
- Experience with HRIS systems and employee records management
- Strong time management and ability to prioritise multiple tasks
