We currently have an exciting role for you to join our Community Safety Team as a Community Safety Investigator.
**Key responsibilities of the position include**:
- Undertaking highly complex investigations as an Authorised Officer.
- Utilising specialised skills and knowledge to make recommendations on enforcement action from investigations.
- Assist in the development and delivery of operational community safety programs/projects.
- Lead moderately complex operations including the planning, execution and seizure of animal.
- Provide expert technical advice to the Community Safety Team and the public on community safety matters.
**The successful applicant will have**:
- Significant experience within a complex community safety or regulatory role.
- Experience in undertaking end to end highly complex investigations.
- Experience in conflict management, negotiation and mediation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all legislation and associated regulations, standards and policies relevant to Community Safety functions.
- Highly developed knowledge in undertaking highly complex investigations including investigative process, planning and reporting.
- Highly developed knowledge in interview planning and techniques.

This is a Level 5 position which has a current salary range of $103,808 - $108,496 per annum (plus superannuation).
